On May 29, 1953, Tenzing Norgay Sherpa and Sir Edmund Hillary climbed Mt. Everest at an altitude of 8,848 meters. Appa Sherpa has set a world record by climbing 21 times since 1953. But breaking her world record, Kamirita Sherpa has set the record by climbing Mt. Everest for the 24th time. Everest at the youngest age, the youngest and most often, in the shortest time, even without oxygen.

Everest, the world's highest mountain, has been climbed 6,000 times by climbers. The race to climb Mt. Everest, which started 67 years ago, has been successful 6,544 times so far.

In 1924, George Mallory tried to climb Mt. Everest with a British expedition, but was unsuccessful. In 1885, a survey of Indian geometry revealed the height of Mount Everest.

From 1953 to 2016, 4,628 climbers have climbed. In 2016 alone, 400 climbers had climbed.

More than 1,000 people from Tibet and Nepali Mohoda have been climbing Mt. Everest annually in the spring and autumn. Since the start of the ascent, 250 climbers have lost their lives so far. April, May and June are considered to be the main seasons for snow climbing in Nepal. They come from European, American and even Asian countries for climbing.

Fill the star hotel during the climbing season

With the start of the mountaineering season, star hotels are full of tourists. According to the Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN), the occupancy rate in big hotels has reached 60 to 65 percent on average. The arrival rate has been positive compared to the last two years, says Pravesh Aryal, chief executive officer of the association. According to Han, it is estimated that 80 to 85 percent of the rooms at the star hotel will be filled in April. In the spring, most climbers come to Nepal to climb the mountains, including Mount Everest.

Climbers are expected to arrive in the spring season
