In 1924, George Mallory tried to climb Mt. Everest with a British expedition, but was unsuccessful. In 1885, a survey of Indian geometry revealed the height of Mount Everest.

More than 1,000 people from Tibet and Nepali Mohoda have been climbing Mt. Everest annually in the spring and autumn. Since the start of the ascent, 250 climbers have lost their lives so far. April, May and June are considered to be the main seasons for snow climbing in Nepal. They come from European, American and even Asian countries for climbing.

According to the Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN), the occupancy rate in big hotels has reached 60 to 65 percent on average. The arrival rate has been positive compared to the last two years, says Pravesh Aryal, chief executive officer of the association. According to Han, it is estimated that 80 to 85 percent of the rooms at the star hotel will be filled in April. In the spring, most climbers come to Nepal to climb the mountains, including Mount Everest.
